Bolomboy needs to be with the Stars, IMO. He's too raw to get meaningful minutes right now, especially with the emphasis more on winning games now than giving rookies developmental minutes.
I'm not saying this from the perspective of developing Bolomboy. I'm saying it from the perspective of strategy. When surrounded by multiple players with good offense, I don't believe he hurts us offensively at all. Defensively and in transition he's got what we need physically without giving up speed that we'd lose with Withey or Diaw. His rebounding efficiency is what tips the scales for making him a net positive relative to other players in a number of situations.
To;dr San Antonio has had a reputation of utilizing a player's strengths while hiding a lot of their deficiencies. Our current team is structured such that Bolomboy really is that guy where I feel it'd be most prominent.
