Eh, we're in the midst of a one-year rebuild and we found a franchise player in the process. The season is a success no matter what.
Hill was the right move. Need to stop rehashing this. While watching the game tonight please notice Taureen Weller Prince. He averages 12 pts and 5 rebounds a game while shooting nearly 40% from three....he was selected with the Jazz pick. The pick they traded for 52 games of Hill.
Tony Jones seems to agree with you(and I do too):This team plays like a team that won't be together next season.
Burks was pure dog**** for most of that game.Like 5 of his points were in garbage time lol. I believe he scored 11 on the first half. His defense was fine. I think people want to blame his defense when it isn't always his fault. One example: one play Oneal completely lost bazemore. Burks was guarding #2. The ball goes to bazemore who is wide open for a three (cause Oneal totally lost his man). Burks sees bazemore getting the ball and runs at him and bazemore hits the three.
If you weren't paying close attention it would look like Burks fell asleep when it was actually oneal.
Also, there was a stretch where Schroder was destroying mitchell over and over. Burks guarded him twice and shut him down both times. Then they put neto on schroder and he destroyed neto too.
Burks chased bellinelli around screens a few times and bellinelli took advantage and scored but burks defense was good tonight. He took care of the ball. He scored very very efficiently, had multiple deflections defensively, drew multiple offensive fouls on the defensive end, and made some good passes and didn' ball hog.
He played a good game.
Lol, who wasn't we lost to the Hawks.Burks was pure dog**** for most of that game.

Donovan is an upbeat, unpretentious kid with the heart of a lion. It's a major part of what makes him special. If he can keep his teammates laughing after all of the losses they've suffered, then more power to him. Players are human and all this talk of trades has to weigh heavily on their minds, especially since the only ones not mentioned are Rudy and Donovan.I can agree with this, a few games he can have a pass for sure, but we can acknowledge it happenes. Donovan has earned the right to some bad games, this was one of them on both ends of the court. Donovan enjoys rest, the schedule and amount of games has worn on him. Sacramento he had a couple days rest, and we saw how he played then.
One thing that bothers me, and maybe it’s because I watched Karl and John, but I hate seeing guys smiling after a pathetic loss like tonight. Derrick Favors smiling, Donovan smiling, Royce smiling. Royce even posted his friend on the Hawks on twitter pumping him up. I get the games over and the NBA has become a friendly skinny jeans league, but it bothers me. Even someone like D-Will a loss truly bothered, especially a joke of one like this. That’s why the Rockets/Clippers thing was actually fun to watch. It’s not the same league I get that, but there shouldn’t be smiles and joking on the court after the worst team in the league just embarrassed you.
Burks wasn't. He played very good for his 23 minutes.
I don't get how I'm considered a troll for not being a fan of a fan favorite player. But, no one is considered trolls for piling on less popular players.Burks wasn't. He played very good for his 23 minutes.
