Hes missed too many crucial free throws this year in tight games. Only a homer would deny that. His leadership and questionable shooting you dont touch because you know its true.
So how good do you think we could be with Hayward and a #2?
Questionable Shooting? Ok, so he has 1 bad year of shooting and all of the sudden his shooting is questionable for the rest of his career. He has a bad shooting night "Oh, looks like 2013-2014 Hayward is back and will never leave!!!". Career 37% 3pt shooter. He is shooting around 37%-38% this year and his midrange game has been nasty. I've never questioned his shooting. He is a good shooter, he has off nights because his back hurts.
Leadership? You can only beat a dead horse so many times. The Utah Jazz are that dead horse and they are looking like one again. I don't think his leadership gets a chance to display itself because he has only been on losing teams. So far he has been the only one who has showed up to every game, even when his individual offense isn't there.
