Again, it's the vets who are causing us to lose. The thing that pisses me off more than anything else is hearing the jazz propaganda on tv and radio. Literally, only Monson, graham, pk, and Gunther dare question der fuher and his reich. Everyone else, harpring (hey did you know that he used to play football???), boler, Locke, checkettes, parks, d news, etc are blaming these losses on the "young guys."

Huh???

The young guys are carrying this team. It's the old guys who are missig free throws, layups, air balling 3s, giving us zero production, committing stupid fouls and turnovers, and losing us these games.

We are losing because Marvin gives us nothing, foye is a sucky defender and in a huge shooting slump, mo is a dumbass, tinsley and Watson are about 5 years past their expiration dates, Millsap has missed plays and layups, and big al is a bad team player. This team would be blown out in every single contest without burks, Hayward, kanter, favors, and Carroll.

But don't look now, Coach Ty is back in his happy place: He has BA back and now Marvelous Marv is back in a groove! With those two going on all cylinders, he can just ride Foye out until he too returns to All-Star form. We are going to roar into the playoffs and go all the way! Now that the the vets are all back and humming along! Yes, Coach Ty can just see it!

As for me, I see us wasting another 20 games of developing the C4 as we let our vets run us out of the playoffs.

Is Hayward in the vet category? He missed a good look for the game-winner. What about his late TO against the Cavs?

Marvin's been mostly bad lately, but he was solid last night. Your last sentence is laughable because a lot of teams would get blown out if you took away 5 important pieces.

Your post is hardly worth responding to but whatever. Marvin's been mostly bad lately, but he was solid last night. Your last sentence is laughable because a lot of teams would get blown out if you took away 5 important pieces.

Isn't Hayward still on his rookie contract? Anyone still on rookie contracts cannot be considered a vet IMO.

Marvin has been garbage this entire year, no other team in he entire league has seen worse pg play, and while you want to blame Hayward why not look at the defense played on boozer? Or the awesome pg play? How many more times does mo need to pull up for an out of control 3 on a fast break and essentially give that possession away?
 
Nightmare and thriller both have good points...... so to me it seems that these recent hearbreak losses can be blamed mostly on the vets (watson, tinsley, foye, marvin especially), and some on hayward, some on the other team just hitting big shots and getting lucky........ and then just a teeny little bit on the youth (burks letting jennings hit a 3, JYD and favors having off nights from the field)

I would say ZERO percent of these losses could be blamed on kanter, and he has been our best player on the whole team lately....... so of course he should have got the 8th most minutes last night.
 
I truly wonder if some of you even saw the game last night. Blaming Hayward? Look at what our starting backcourt did last night then come talk to me about hayward. And while we are talking about starting backcourts, Chicago was without their starting backcourt and backup big.

Carmelo and Amar'e have a combined one good knee...both players are questionable tonight's game vs Utah Jazz.
 
I, for one, am looking forward to a nightmare game thread. The past 3 Dutch threads led to some heartbreaking losses
 
It's been a historic road trip for the Jazz:

In the Utah era of the franchise, I can't find 3 straight Jazz losses by 5 points. Closest: 3 straight by 8 between March 23-27, 1982.
