Holy **** when was the last time this team was 100% from the foul line?
CJ Miles won the game for us tonight. I didn't see that coming but I did expect us to win so kudos to me! Haters keep hating, you should always believe in your team no matter what the odds are.
Good win...good win.
Smart move by Johnson to keep Watson in the game - Jazz offense was stuck in mud in the 3rd. It looked to me they were standing around waiting for D-Will to take over. Watson played his best game by far - without taking a shot.
Jefferson and Millsap combined: 35 Pts / 14-24 FG / 20 Reb / 3 Ast / 3 Stl / 4 Blk / 4 TO / 5 PF
still out-rebounded though
more or less
I was ready to throw in the towel on Big Al. And I am usually one to have lots of patients for new guys. The lack of boxing out is driving me nuts. But I am now back on the train. Big Al had a great 2nd half and he made some great shots. Nice hustle from everybody. Fun win.
Tonight's game was brought to you by "The essence of Doe" now playing in an NBA arena near you...
Jefferson still sux. CJ still sux. Sloan was also sending his suck vibes from the funeral home. Fes takes Jefferson's minutes tonight and he doubles his production and we win by 37. Just saying.
Didn't see the game live tonight. Was out. Reading through Smith's tweets throughout the game. I'm really amused by four successive tweets.

Took a miraculous 3 point barrage by CJ to win this game. He flat out demoralized them after that one from 26 feet. If Sloan was here I highly doubt CJ pulls the trigger on all those and ends up driving into traffic for the turnover, funny how things work out. Still clowned on the glass, 48 to 38, and ALdridge isn't even a good rebounder....just terrible.
Yeah CJ rocked tonight. We have gotten lucky a lot on the road. I still don't feel like the jazz have found a consistent way to win. Until we can box out and find a starting unit that will win first quarters we are mediocre. All these come from behind wins are taking their toll on D will and our team will suffer big time if he gets injured.
after all the he's done and the kudos he has received .. Wesley Matthews is still being called as Wesley Johnson *sigh* i feel bad for this guy
When is In Game Wankery going to come and give us his critique of tonight's game?
Always fun to see an armchair coach critique professionals from a foundation of utter ignorance.
Shows how desperate the Jazz are for someone who can shoot. Also Jazz really need to start rebounding better.
While he's not perfect, Fes is the best answer for have for an interior presence. I think his rebounding numbers will improve with consistent playing time.
I'm going to go against Dr. Phil and accentuate the negative: Our defense sucks. If Portland shoots better than 7 percent we lose going away. I see guys who don't know when to switch, guys who don't commit to double teams, and Al/Jeff are still figuring out how to play D next to one another. The good news is we seem to stop thinking and start playing when we're down. But man, this is like watching the D of 2 years ago sometimes.
