Dal jumping that gun.

Pleiss probably saw this thread and was like "Damn, this dude really thinks highly of me, so much pressure.......... I'm going back to Europe, sorry Utah."

He probably has some personal affairs he needed a couple of days to go handle and then will come back. I am not overly worried about it. He will be in a Jazz uni this season.

We can compromise and call him the "Giant Octopleiss".

Yea it's not Kraken size, but if you know much about the octopus you know they have good vision and that they are very smart and crafty.

I hope Pleiss is the same.
And then there's that ink squirting thing. Can Pleiss do that? If so it could be a real weapon.

Just seems kind of weird when Neto did basically the same thing and he stayed and signed and is now working out with Utah. They both got bought out while they were up here.

Well, Neto has been here several times already. He was probably more prepared to actually sign and stay. Maybe that's why. I hope Ellis29 is correct.

I had on the radio (1320 maybe) that maybe the Jazz are holding off signing Pleiss because OKC will need to dump salary, in order to keep Kanter, and Jazz might want 1 or 2 pieces off their roster. ? Anyone know what's up with OKC?

The only player I'd be interested in is Perry Jones, but he only makes 2M and OKC needs to shed way more than that.

OKC is going to have to send some players to the scrap heap with Kanter's K. That's where I'm wondering if the Jazz would do a 3 or 4-1 trade with them with some non guaranteed guys that OKC could waive for a guaranteed K with the Thunder.

I would take McGary but doubt that would be one of the guys they would be looking to ditch.

Finally a reason not to absolutely hate this ridiculous song...

The move at about 2:20 was poetry in motion. If he can teach this kind of **** to Gobert he is worth his weight in sauerkraut. (the one at about 3:20 as well)

#1 I can't figure out why I'm feeling so damn happy after watching that vid.

#2 Highlight videos always give us a twisted view of who a player really is, but I have a hard time imagining that his European team's apparent glee at losing him has anything to do with his offensive skills. Hopefully it was just a contract issue.

#3 If Tibor can put on 15 or 20 lbs. of muscle I will gladly supply the extra sauerkraut to complete Log's proposed transaction.
