Jazz Can't Close Out Games For ****.

He will soon be the answer to this dilemma. Our leader in the making.

This season has undoubtedly been frustrating but you have to keep it in perspective. The fact that this team was even able to keep up with the 2 best teams in the league, let alone be in a position to beat them, is extremely impressive. Even more so when considering their age/experience level combined with the fact that they're missing 2 of their most important pieces & playing without much depth due to it.

This team has a very bright future. Retaining Hayward (hopefully at a reasonable price) & getting/staying healthy are the main concerns, much more so than closing out games. That will come with time, experience, health, & hopefully an additional scorer.

Yup. And how about that Cleveland game earlier this year?

5th seed. Fighting for 4th.

No one on the planet expected 4th seed for this team, even before Exum got hurt.

5th was the lofty ceiling-- and in hindsight we easily would have achieved it without injuries.

you need to get back on your antidepressants dude ... geez

No kidding. This season is far from disappointing. It could have been better, but with all the injuries the Jazz have had the fact they are in the playoff race is great.

If you want disappointing look at the Kings. Many people thought they would be better than the Jazz this year (not me, but there was a long thread on realgm about it) and they haven't had near the injuries the Jazz have had.

I expected the Kings and TWolves to be dark horse candidates for the playoffs. Also expected Portland to win around 35 games.

I had the top-4 as is, with Utah vying with Memphis for the 5th seed. Injuries for both teams will have them fall short of expectations. I'm not disappointed at all. The Jazz have had some ups and downs, but they've battled back. To make the playoffs - and I think they will - is a HUGE accomplishment
