Lmao. Only people with unrealistic expectations of rookies being stars from the first game they play. Because that happens so often.

How many rookies even have the trust of the coach to start games on a winning team? So dumb for anyone to act like there's a major issue with a rookie taking time to adjust to the NBA game.

I'm pretty thrilled that Mitchell is getting this baptism by fire. He's making some mistakes but he's also doing some good things on the court. I'm excited for what this player will be.
 
I’m not worried about Mitchell, but I do wonder if he’d be better off coming off the bench while Hood is out.
 
Who was our last rookie that shot well to start their career?

Looks like Hood was about 8 for his first 40. Lyles might still not have made one. Exum, nope. Burke, nope.

Unfortunately only one of them actually did turn into a good shooter. But I think he'll be just fine.
