Jazz draft Taylor Hendricks at 9

I’m not a hater. I like Hendricks. I would’ve picked both Bufkin and Cam unless his fall was because of some serious medical or traded down.

Perhaps not, but Hendricks already possess that skillset to make himself a rather nice career in the league. Further, he's only 19 and I suspect he'll add a ton to this game.

I think everyone is pissed we passed on Cam when there is obviously something we don’t know about because we passed on him at 16 too. At 9 Hendricks was the no-brainer pick.

Until we know why exactly I’m going to wish we had taken him till I see a reason good enough to pass. Till then I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt.

They wanted us to trade up for the guy who might be a good 3 and D wing… Taylor already shoots well so can’t possibly have upside. You have to have mad crossovers and shoot step back threes or rumors that you are growing 2 inches every month or some ****.

Half the league passed on Cam, including some of the better organisations like the Heat and Warriors. Until he proves us wrong, I consider us on the right side of this.

It has been reported that there were questions about his knees and he didn't interview well. Personally I still would have gone with Cam but we weren't able to see the medicals or the interview that the jazz did with him.

If it’s true that he wasnt taking work outs seriously then I am glad we passed. We don’t need a cancer like that in the locker room. A kid that doesn’t want to work hard is not Jazz DNA as far as I’m concerned

Trade up for someone who might be as good as Hendricks one day and is smaller lol.
