I think the opposite. Parker is worth a shot if you can get him on a bargain 4-year deal.

I think that's how it would work. Jabari gets a guaranteed $40M payday, but it's in the $15M/year range, instead of $20M.

Not for $15 a year. Happy for the guy finally getting 'a' payday, but that's his last big contract unless he plays really well. Starting to think Phoenix is going to challenge for a playoff spot under Igor and very soon.

Theme emerging: Lots of iffy looking deals for teams tight on money. Could play out well for the Jazz in RFA if Favors doesn't work out. Also limits the suitors for Exum, reducing the chances of a poison pill DRASTICALLY.
