He just had his best season this year. So that is incorrect. His best season might have been last year, that is a decent argument. He was incredible this year.

Statically he was our best player until he got hurt this year according to advanced stats.

If he is the same player as last year that is an incredibly good deal.

If he declines, it depends how much until it becomes a bad deal.

I wake up thinking - holy ****, Chris Paul is making $40 million a year for the next 4 years.

Based off all numbers I have seen so far: Exum deserves about $7 a year for 2+1 with 3rd year player option. Favors should sign a 1 year $10 deal.

If we signed Exum to $7, traded Burks and our 2019 1st to Atlanta to dump salary then renounced everybody else, we could offer LeBron like $30 million right?

No. We need to renounce everybody - Exum, Favors, Neto and Stockton and need to waive Jerebko, Thabo and Udoh... then we need to salary dump Alec... this opens up about 30-31M in capspace.
 
With the cap being at almost $102, we have $26 million if we just let all unsigned players go (Exum, Fave, Neto, Thabo, Jonas and Udoh). So signing Exum to $7 puts us at $19. Dumping Burks' $11.5 puts us at $30ish.

I could be wrong but I think those numbers are right.
