Not just the quote, which is great, but think about it... Beating out RW, PG13, (Melo), CP3, Harden en route to the WC finals.. That would be special. Then add Steph and KD to the list (well, and Draymond and Klay), and finally LeBron. Makes for a good start to a basketball CV.

I'm not sure I really even understand what true shooting percentage is and I'm even impressed.

(Is it how many points per shot you average, which will be higher if you're shooting more 3s than 2s?)

That's basically it. It's your shooting percentage, but with made 3 point shots weighted 1.5x as much as made 2 point shots.
 
In basketball, true shooting percentage is an APBRmetrics statistic that measures a player's efficiency at shooting the ball.[1] It is intended to more accurately calculate a player's shooting than field goal percentage, free throw percentage, and three-point field goal percentage taken individually. Two- and three-point field goals and free throws are all considered in its calculation. It is abbreviated TS%.
