Jazz Management... Corbin... Somebody!

How many times does the bench have to outplay the starters before you realize something has to be done. Corbin, it's time to make some adjustment in the starting lineup. But then I get to thinking about the logjam the Jazz have at the 2-4-5 positions and my head just wants to explode. Trade Jefferson/Millsap for a decent point guard and whatever else you can get. You COULD package that Warriors draft pick to get some assets as well. We all know at least one of two SHOULD be traded to at least free up time for the young bigs... but that's not even the problem. Favors deserves 30+ MPG and Kanter deserves at least 10 minutes more per. Meh!

Once you come to grips that Corbin is as smart a bag of rocks, then you won't even bother asking these questions anymore.

No, I know this. I've known this for a loooong time now. Dude just doesn't have the mentality to be a head coach in this league. He'd probably be a decent coach for a Jr. Jazz team.

Corbin is not the leader this team needs. We gave him a chance, but I don't think he's the guy to get the most out of these players.

What have 'these' players proved?
Jefferson - Loser
Millsap - Overachiever
Mo - journeyman
Marvin - Overrated top pick
Gordon - Mid 1st round pick
Favors - Potential
Enes - Potential
Foye - Undersized SG
Carroll - Developmental league
Burks - Free him
Tinsley - Out of the league

I know it's easy to get on the Corbin's horrible bandwagon but to me we don't have talent.

Go Jazz

Coaching isn't rocket science folks.

You don't reward players for playing badly/lack of effort.

There's no reason why Jefferson should be getting so much PT. If he doesn't want to play on the road then there needs to be a consequence. Bench his ***. Marvin? Sorry, but Carroll will play if you don't. Mo, wanna chuck? Sit down, unleash Burks. Our bigs wanna play like pansies? Sick Kanter on someone.

We have no consequences on our team. No coach with a brain would allow his starters to play like they did tonight without SERIOUS consequences.

Favors got his 20 minutes. More than enough for a dominating 3rd pick in his 3rd year. Kanter should hit 15 mpg within 3-4 years. Don't worry, these guys aren't ready. Everything is okay. We might even be able to compete for a playoffs spot!
