Rodney Hood received votes for "Which player is most likely to have a breakout season?"

Rudy Gobert, surprisingly, wasn't in the top 4 chosen for "Who is the best center in the NBA?". Towns, Davis, Gasol and Cousins ahead of Gobert. He did receive votes.

Donovan Mitchell was tied for 3rd at 7% in "Which rookie was the biggest steal at where he was selected in the Draft?". Smith Jr and Kuzma ahead of him.

Rudy Gobert was 3rd at 10% in "Who is the best defender in the NBA?". Kawhi and Draymond ahead of him.

Rudy Gobert was 1st at 66% in "Who is the best interior defender in the NBA?". Surprising it was only 66%.

Utah was 3rd at 7% in "Which is the best defensive team in the NBA?". Behind Golden State and San Antonio.

Quin Snyder received votes in "Which head coach is the best manager/motivator of people?"

Quin Snyder tied for 3rd (7%) in "Which head coach has the best defensive schemes?"

Alex Jensen and Igor Kokosov received votes in "Who is the best assistant coach in the NBA?"

Utah received votes in "Which team has the best home court advantage?"

Ricky Rubio was tied for 3rd (7%) in "Which player is the best passer?"

I would put Towns and Davis on part with Gobert. In other words, I think if we had some large scale trade and ended up swapping Gobert for one of them it would more or less be a push, all things considered (not just defense). But I think Gobert is absolutely better than Cousins and Gasol. They may have more complete offensive games, but Gobert's otherworldly defense and team leadership mentality puts him solidly above both of them.

I would put only Davis on par, Towns is really gifted but his disinterest in defense is still a glaring issue with his game. Besides, he had a cameo in one of Katy Perry's videos, that's like 50 uncool points right there!

Gobert gonna be pissed.
Bad move gm's

I hate this because I love Rudy. But I love this because rudy pays attention to this stuff and it motivates him even more. Please continue to disrespect the GOAT

Part of me really believes Rudy can bring a championship here one day. The guy has incredible talent work ethic and confidence.

Cousins is laughable. Of course, I'm sure they'd turn around to say that mentality is divorced from talent, somehow.

Some of these results are pathetic. And not just the Gobert snubbing.

I'd expect this from a survey of owners...

Really some laughable choices there. This usually has been a telling pole, but I am less convinced this year that it's not a popularity contest. Cousins is a good player, but his teams rarely win so how can he be THAT good. And to say he doesn't have help is not true because he has had a million top picks around him (who have all died in the league) and he now has Anthony Davis who is again supposed to be better than 1990s Will Smith. Yet, both of them still lost more than they won. If I had two of the top three big men in the league and couldn't win, I would debate if they are really all that. Especially when Gobert's Jazz held my team to 70 points twice in the last 18 months.

It's the GMs, not the owner's. That's why it's usually pretty accurate is that they have a better feel for the statistics and the players and this usually doesn't fall into a hype report. This year appears to be a popularity contest.

I honestly don't believe this is even legit.

Some intern at NBA.com got frustrated when he couldn't get past the secretaries on the phone to talk to the GMs, and just decided to fill these in himself and make up the percentages. Apparently he was a Minnasota fan, because nobody in their right mind believes Towns is currently the best center in the NBA.

This survey proves that most GMs are clueless. Just looking at the results, I would have thought this was a fans poll...
Rudy is the 4th best center in the league? LOL.

I think that if Rudy wasn't voted in the top 4 of centres that it should be criminal.

He is very obviously top 4 maybe even top 3 because would Anthony Davis really classify as a centre?

I rate Rudy above Marc Gasol.
