Jazz Offseason Plan

Sign Frankie, trade a second for Paschall, find a backup C that played with DM in college.

We must engage in the "Suck up to Mitchell so he doesn't leave" master plan.

Seriously lol, I’d love to get rid of this dude

Just gtfoh already.

The dude celebrated Conley re-signing just yesterday.

I’m with you that it’s more likely Mitchell leaves than stays for another contract, but this is some conspiracy theory level ****.

Bey is actually one of the few rookies who did show out during last year's G league. Averaging 15pts and 9reb on 49% shooting and 33% from deep (1 made per 3 attempts) through 13 games. Legit 3D prospect who could end up having a career similar to that of PJ Tucker who was also cut from his team after rookie season.

I'd take him over some wasted project like Winslow.

Also had the highest vert in the combine that year IIRC. Or highest max vert reach? Something very good.

Would be a great project IMO.

Mavs fans aren’t very high on him, but what do they know really...
He’s a project. One that if he can makes himself playable has major upside, IMO.

I’d like our projects to have upside. This strategy of taking three years to develop a Niang is not the best.

Also, the next big thing in defense is a guy that can switch across most (all?) positions guarding 5-out AND have the ability to protect the rim by racing from the perimeter. These players are incredibly rare.

If you can get him to have a passable jump shot and floor vision, that’s a very useful and valuable player, especially in the chess match of the playoffs. Hell, even if he doesn’t figure those things out, it probably would’ve been enough for the Jazz to advance in the playoffs last year.

I wonder if Juwan Morgan could have eventually pulled that off. Ahh well
