A recurring theme on this website is that Exum's conditioning is poor because he clutches his jersey during game play. Check out the video at the 0:57 mark and at 3:54. I think it is just his mannerism and not a sign of poor conditioning. That isn't to say his conditioning is where it needs to be, but let's stop reading so much into the jersey clutching thing.
 
Does anyone know when Exum or Gobert plays next?
Btw seen Eric Bledsoe yesterday, anyone know why he is in SLC?

I was waiting for someone to bring this out......Watching Exum put his hands on his hips all the time ...you could see on or two of his team mates and a couple of players on the opposite teams doing the hands on their hips also......What does that mean ,their all out of condition like Exum ?
Some of these posters aren't even watching these games ,their still going off of last months SL games.Because all these same players putting their hands on their hips are running hard and playing hard when the clock is ticking....including Exum.
Exum is doing just fine playing as hard as all the other players and he still has 5 or 6 exhibition games before Fiba even starts.He should have at least ten more games.
 
Exum has been visibly gassed after 10-15 minutes of play in every game he's played since being drafted. Fact.

vs Finland 2 0pts, 1 ast, 0 rb, 3 TO second half

1st halves: 26pts, 10ast, 6rb, 3st, 0 TO
2nd halves: 5pts, 5ast, 1rb, 1 st, 6 TO

And yes, I've seen all of the games that were available and the stats are not lying in this case.

Both Australia and France play tomorrow vs Ukraine and Philippines respectively in Nice, France.

Not bad. I think some of his problem in the second half of games relates to just a lack of variability in his game. He is quite good at a few things, but his game lacks diversity because he isn't a good shooter. He's going to have flashes this year, but overall probably not be a huge contributor.

yah, it's not bad at all. Shooting is 45%FG, 33% 3pt... If he keeps those % against NBA competition in his first season I'd be elated!

He's only shot 3FT and made only 1. This is a bit worrisome. I expect him to go to the line much more.
