Because we know exactly who Allen is. He's got very little ceiling. There were several prospects with more upside that could have developed into impact players. Allen will be a career backup.

I'd settle for a guy that might ever start in the NBA. AKA, moves the needle at all.

Let's get out of the way how dumb sports are, let alone how much time and energy we put into it.

That being said, I've put a lot of time into this **** and it feels like a damn insult. This pick could've been many things, but it is now some frat boy that hasn't improved in 2-3 years and is most known for tripping players and being insane. On the flipside, the upside is he plays well off the bench but lacks the size, PG skills, or defensive chops to believably do anything more than that.
 
I think too many see white guy and think unathletic shooter. Guys a high level athlete. At least watch some highlights
