I wonder what his reasons were for not staying in Indy which seemed a good situation ???
we are legit championship contender if we have JaMychal Green, who embodies everything this roster currently needs at the PF spot. One of the seven players in the entire league last year who can shoot more than 35% from 3 on over 1 made each game, while having a more than 15% rebounding rate. but unfortunately i don't think he'll sign at the vet minimum. at this point the best min vet options we can hope for are probably Marcus Morris and RHJ.Jazz have 10 guys under contract
Conley - Exum
Mitchell - O’Neale
Bogdanovic - Jingles
Niang
Gobert - Davis - Bradley
Plus 3 rookies competing for a roster spot or a 2 way contract. (JWF - Oni - Brantley)
Theoretically, they have 3/4 roster spots available and a HUGE hole at PF. Hopefully one of the guys still left (JaMychal Green) will see the opportunity to play their way into a big deal next year and round things out nicely.
Some people speculate Sefalosha might come back for the minimum, fwiw.Jazz have 10 guys under contract

I still have my doubts about them playing together. Kawhi and Davis struggle to stay healthy and LeBron was injured last year for the first time in his career. Then they have to fill out the rest of their roster with 9 minimum players.
we simply outbid Indy. it was a BIG offer both in terms of contract length and salary.I wonder what his reasons were for not staying in Indy which seemed a good situation ???
No one on the roster has ever been an all star so......So, legit question. Is Utah a Superteam now?
I didn't want to give him the max either time he got itHow quickly some forget. Someone bump the Gordon FA thread from that summer and let's see what the consensus was on giving him a max contract. Coming off a horribly inefficient year, Utah was willing to give him an identical contract to Favors.
Hindsight is great, isn't it? Kudos to Gordo for busting his *** to make himself into a star. He wasnt back then. He could have just as easily turned into Wiggins. It wasnt like he came into the league like Donovan. Theres zero doubt about giving him maximum he's eligible for. There was with Hayward at the time.

Would you consider the 2014-2015 Hawks a superteam? Millsap, Horford, Korver and Teague were allstars that year. Allstar game selections can be moot considering which conference/division you play in. Sure, Toronto had Kawhi AND Lowry this year, but we all know Lowry wouldn't even be in the conversation if he played in the west.Superteam requires 3 or 4 all-star selections
