Jazz sign Ed Davis

Davis is the type of solid vet that I always wanted the Jazz to sign, but who always ends up signing for another team. Nothing groundbreaking, but the type of player ever quality team needs. The fact the Jazz are getting a guy like this is fantastic.

Davis same draft as Favors, Hayward, Udoh, Trevor Booker, Elliot Williams and Tibor Pleiss. 8.6 rebounds last year with Nets. Free throw percentage not good and is shooting a career .000 from 3.

Best off-season ever

Ok, signing Trevor Booker to a minimum deal would make it the best off-season ever, but only because I personally like the guy so much.

I'll bet he takes up Favors' role. Basically replace Favors with the option of going smaller with Bojan. Royce is a 2-3 and there's no way he says extended minutes guarding down low unless it's an extremely small lineup.

Good signing but a little confused, thought the jazz were looking for a starting 4? Not complaining, I’d rather juust start Bogie at the 4.

Well, I saw on twitter that the Jazz would sign a starting PF for the 4.7 with Ingles becoming our 6th man. Then finish games with Gobert/BoJingles/Mitchell and Conley.

Also F splash uncles 2.0. It’s clearly BoJingles.

That was just one idea, but not anything stated by Lindsey, Zanik or Snyder.

Davis and Willie Reed appear to be similar type players. This gives us depth.

I’ve always liked Ed Davis. He’s active. It stands out on the court when you watch him.
