Jazz Sign Ian Clark

Zzyzx = the Demon Prison from a fantasy book series my kids are reading with us right now.

Fablehaven Series by Brandon Mull. Funny turn for the conversation to go.

Did anybody read that Dime Mag link talking about his pre-draft work outs with P3? Did anybody else find it a bit funny that leaving Portland going back to P3 that they sent his bags here to Utah (SLC airport), a bit prophetic don't you think?

Looks like Ian can dribble to me. He was very patient in the p-n-r in that MVP game vid posted. Everyone who got all starry eyed over Burks playing the point should be way more thrilled for Ian to develop the capability. He looks pretty good at reading defenses and forcing them to make late decisions on whether to stick with their man or collapse on him. Maybe that's why he didn't get to the line -- he was shooting 65% on two pointers. At that clip why would he try to get to the line when he's using craftiness to get past guys?

I need more video.

Also, the pic at the top of the story was taken at ESA.

I did see that pic and notice that looked like the ESA, but I forgot to include that, my mind was focusing on the GSW and Porty connection. Both of those teams have a bit of history with the Jazz, Porty trying to take Millsap and then successfully taking Mathews, then of course GSW tanking to keep their draft pick last year.

Not saying this means anything really other then it's the slow off season so my mind has nothing better to do than connect the dots, like the last game he played in college was in the ESA and the place he was training to prepare for the NBA is where the Jazz like their players to train in the off season.

21 point and 0 assists in 35 minutes: sounds like we picked up a shorter version of Chucker Smiles.
