I’m cool with absorbing Paschall with TPE and flipping them a few seconds to keep Don happy. Or they can have Miye Oni and a second rounder if they like him. I wouldn’t give up anything else for him. What a great pick up for the Jazz. They were targeting two players for their TPMLE and they got one of them, great work by the front office. The Jazz have had a very successful offseason in my book, re-signed Conley and added Butler and Gay. I would love to see them make a couple of good vet minimum signings and call it an offseason. No need to trade Ingles, if our championship window is now then he helps us far more next season than guy's like Moody or Paschall would.
This might actually make a Joe (or Bojan) deal MORE likely...
Are you a Jazz exec on a burner account? To be fair we waived Jeff very young into the season. Sometimes these older guys need some time to get everything together and get a new system down. All the players loved Jeff, so I don't think it's anything to do with his attitudeThey waived him because he was pouty and refused to do **** for some reason. Then he went elsewhere and killed it. Shot like 40% from 3, rebounded, played solid D. No ****ing clue why he refused to perform while he was here but here he sucked ***.
Also, this idea that he was a cancer does not jive any bit with his rep. Still feel like the Jazz were the disaster and he doesn’t jive with that. Are you a Jazz exec on a burner account? Agreed. I think sometimes our fanbase slightly shows that they are casual fans and biased towards other teams players, especially athletes with marquee names. Jeff Green has presented himself professionally everywhere he's gone. We have a very strange dynamic we run here with Lindsay having a hard on for G League players for some odd reason, and Snyder's system. Hopefully we veer away from that and go the extra mile to bring in better quality players. This signing is a big deal, and Gay has that Vince Carter feel about him with how he preserves his game as he ages. He hasn't really slowed down too much since that knee injury he had a few years back, but this is a vet who knows how to score, and if Clarkson is struggling off the bench we can put the ball in Gays hand to score. This signing has me hype! Also, this idea that he was a cancer does not jive any bit with his rep. Still feel like the Jazz were the disaster and he doesn’t jive with that.
Green looked terrible that year. I don’t think he fit.Jeff definitely had something left when he signed with us. DL just wanted Niang and Rayjon Tucker instead.
No comment…Is @Handlogten's Heros Zanik, BTW? All the ire towards DL is starting to lineup too...
I demand answers.

Just saw the news… **** yeah. I’m a big fan of the gay move. About as perfect a fit as possible… and the puns… my god the puns!!!!!
FYI. Gay attempted more three pointers per game than Niang last season.Curious, what about Rudy's game is perfect? Did we need a mid range iso scorer? A plus usage guy is the last thing I think this team needed.
I thought the same thing. NiceHell yeah. This is pleasantly surprising.
Conley-Butler
Mitchell-Clarkson
O’Neale-Ingles
Bogdanovic-Gay
Gobert-Doke
What do we need? Someone like Chiozza in case Conley goes down? Another long 3-4 who is versatile? Nothing at all.
