Jazz-Sixers idea again: Iggy+EB for AK+TPE

I just thought of this trade in a different way.

Jazz trade 17.8 million dollars in contracts for 107.6 million dollars in contracts. Brand and Iggy worth that?
 
I would defiantly do the Boozer TPE for Iggy, and I might add in a draft pick...with a line up of DWill-Iggy-AK-Millsap-??? would be intriguing, with the Magic possibly shopping Gortat then we trade the Harpring TPE for him, then your really looking at something serious especially if Okur comes back some what healthy. Rotations of...

Iggy/Miles/Honzward
AK/Iggy/Honzward
Sap/AK/KK
Okur(when healthy)/Gortat/Fes

I just moved from Philly, and other than Turner and their young pg, you don't want anyone from that team. If people are sick of AK, why would we trade for a player with less talent than AK (AI) and a lot more money. We are about to get out from under AK, we don't want to make the same mistake.

And for those that like AI, if he is that good, in a league where one player can carry a team, why were the 76ers so bad? They were so bad, they actually signed the real AI. Iggy is overpaid, and not worth it.

That 17.8M figure is only entirely accurate if the Jazz keep AK the rest of the year and don't re-sign him or get a replacement after that in the next 3-4 years, don't match Wes's 34M, and not do anything else.

If it's possible to get Iguodala only for the TPE and a pick, and not to have to involve Brand in this, that would be really great. I still think Philly insists on including Brand but if the TPE and a pick for Iggy is enough, absolutely.

After absorbing Iggy for the Boozer TPE, it would be harder to expect to use the Harp TPE for Gortat, or even the MLE for that matter. Doubtful they can do that though, more likely the Jazz would have to do a trade to bring other players in. But again, if they'd be willing to do one of using the Harp TPE or the MLE, then great.
 
i find it funny that people always come up with trade ideas that will never happen..Doug collins wants to play iggy at the 3.turner 2..jru at point..He has been on record as saying as much..plus why would philly trade iggy and brand for ak...Whats in the water out in utah fo reals? dif would make jazz better especially if brand was healthy cuz when healthy he a beast but it goes back to duke curse..1 dukie won a chip EVER
 
Give me one thing Iggy does that AK doesn't. I do not understand why anyone would want Iggy, especially with that contract.

p.s. If Utah was dumb enough to do that trade, Philly would do that in a heartbeat. They know that both Brand and Iggy are vastly overpaid and would jump through a brick wall to get rid of those contracts. They would LOVE Utah to offer AK for both of them. That would be a dream come true for them. Philly will not be a contender until those two are gone.

Collins is blowing smoke when he says that. Iggy sucks and makes too much money. The reason Collins says that is to keep the piece and hopefully find someone dumb enough to trade for him.
