Jazz to sign John Lucas III

I've had a minute to process, I HATE the thought of watching JLIII play and think we couldve gotten an equally sucky, but better fit (not a chucker) but the more I think about it Lindsey is making the roster absolutely Corbin proof.

The young guys will get the vast majority of minutes and touches, the vets will ensure we don't win too many games.

Give Corbin even somewhat decent vets and he might start itching to bench the young guys

I saw Tinsley as a good mentor for Burke and a good lockeroom guy.

Then I have great news! I have been contacted by the Jazz to fill the third big role while Gobert matures! I will be paid in pretzels and Diet Mt. Dew. Also, I NOT be attending conditioning with Karl Malone. The Jazz have retained the services of Todd Fuller to round me into tanking shape.

I fully intend to start over Favors.

Good thing about Lucus is though he seems to be pretty good at shooting the 3's.. he shot 37% last year.

The article in that other thread made it confusing, it was saying we knew we were gonna sign Lucas, but we were gonna wait and see if we could get a pick with our cap space before we signed him.

Basically we were going to sign him either way, the fact we signed him probly shows there wasn't a trade out there where we could absorb an expiring and get a pick.

We could never get a pick for Lucas because he was a FA

I'm going to enjoy every minute of this tank. Last year my favorite games were the ones when we would get blown out and the young guys got to play more than five minutes.

I thought we were getting a top 5 pick by signing him. That's at least the only reasoning I see.
