The Jazz would be better off replacing Mike Conley with a defensive specialist, like a Kris Dunn. They have enough scoring with Mitchell, Bogey and Clarkson for the most part. The Jazz were looking for more shooting in the offseason and they overcorrected. Bogey and Clarkson were good acquisitions. The other guys, including Conley, were mistakes. Two of those mistakes have been corrected with Jeff Green getting waived and Ed Davis getting benched. Not sure what they'll do with Conley. There's just no path forward with him, imo. He's not our primary ball handler, not our primary play initiator, doesn't shoot enough, and he gives up too much on the other end.
