There are a lot of players who couldn’t even play in today’s NBA. The jazz would probably shift players over, make Malone play the 5 and maybe put Shandon Anderson at the 4, Bruss/Morris 3/2, and Stockton at the 1. But that would leave them with zero rim protection.
The bulls would have to retool their roster as their Longley/Brian Williams (Bison Dele) would be too stiff and Rodman’s lack of shooting would allow teams to focus on stopping Jordan and Pippen. Jackson might adjust by inserting some shooting with Kerr and Kukoc playing bigger roles. He might even go small by putting Kukoc or Rodman in at center. But then that would allow teams to put Kerr in the blender and kill the Bulls with their lack of rim protection and rebounding. Gobert would abuse the Bulls.
The game is just so much faster, skilled, and free flowing now.
