Jazz vs Kings - 4/8/15 7 PM Mountain Time

I also liked KJ sharing the story of getting home after hitting the shot to eliminate the Jazz in the playoffs in 1990 and having a congratulatory message from John Stockton.

I think Hayward is fine, Jazz are just seeing what other people can do in the offense. Look at all the freedom Gobert had in the 1st quarter this evening. They are running more offense through Favors, Hood, Exum, Booker and others now. Most people know what Hayward can do by this point. Hayward made a couple plays coming out in the 2nd half just to get the Jazz going a little bit, and then let other dudes continue to run the show. I think if they needed to win against a tough team they'd be playing through Hayward more like they have been all season.

At least, that's my speculation.

I think Hayward just really doesn't care about playing the Kings. He said in he pre-game interview it would be fun to beat some playoff teams to change the positioning. He just saving his body for that IMO.

I thought it was hilarious when the Indian guy came out and Gobert was laughing in the bench about his match up with Cooley.

This.

In the post game Snyder said it would be stupid to just sit Hayward for the rest of the year, so it is not an injury thing. It's purely a resting thing, and to see what other players can do. He specifically referenced Hood in this case. I think his exact quote was "When Hood is on the floor without Hayward, his role changes". I think that's the biggest thing here is development for these guys. We all know that Hayward can ball and has confidence to go Iso and try to take over games. Coach is letting the younger guys try and build that same confidence in my opinion.

Hood is a beast! Awesome.

Nice to see Exum hitting 3s but I want to see him become that assist man we know he has the potential to be!

Who is the one that grabbed the little Alec in that 2nd pic?

Thanks for the lengthy synopsis.

Sorry. I can't figure out how to get my full keyboard to hook up to my iPhone. The plug doesn't seem to fit.

You know, there's also this interesting new thing called the Utah Jazz mobile app that has video of the post-game interviews...

No excuses. Just do your damn job, or we'll find someone who can.
