Bring JC Carroll to camp as a third guard. He's having a good summer league or bring Kevin Kruger in. At least he can shoot free throws.

Not a fan of bringing Carroll in, given that any team should have a maximum of one player who is a good outside shooter but poor defender. The Jazz already wasted a top 10 pick on that guy.

I'd propose Luther Head over JC Carroll--and Deron probably would, too. It would be interesting to me if DW was appeased at all if the Jazz picked up Augustine or Luther Head, both former Illini guys.

As for Kevin Kruger, I'm much more open to the idea. Gaines is simply not giving any indication of being a distributor (and I question whether Jazz summer league Scott Layden is saying ANYTHING to him about trying to run the offense). Kruger had a nice stat line last year (see link below) with a decent A/TO ratio and a great 3-point %.
