I think this is the case... maybe wanted Niang to get one more stint before getting yanked... that stint... did not go well.
Morgan just looks like he moves well enough to guard on the perimeter when he is switched out and he kind of stone walled a couple guys and had a nice block/strip. That bad pass he caught from DM, I think it was to another player, was low key impressive... at least for our bigs. He also got his hands on another ball... was called for a foul but it looked fairly clean. Based on his block steal average in the g league he might be one of those guys that just has awesome instincts and hands.
I think he needs to play somewhere in the rotation. Niang's shooting does give us something so I'm not 100% sure it should be him, but the Niang Bradley frontcourt will bleed points. I think Morgan is an improvement over both.
