Because he wasn't cut with the other players and media personal from the Jazz have said that there's been whispers of the Jazz wanting to do something.
Can you link those whispers?

I don't think Murry will be cut (yet). The roster is at 14 currently.
Murry does have a partially guaranteed contract, so there should actually be incentive to play him now before the date that he has to be cut before his contract becomes fully guaranteed.
Dahntay Jones played a lot of minutes in the preseason but he has been cut unexpectedly...
Your point?
Can you link those whispers?
I'm not sure Clark is ahead of Murry because he played more in the preseason games.
Quin gave to Clark the chance to prove his game...but I'm not sure he showed something special.

A lot of smoke around the Jazz right now, sounding like they might not be done making moves.
Weird timing on Jazz cuts, and some Jazz people were talking pretty openly earlier today. Wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't accidental.
Who said anything about special? This is just backup PG minutes for a team who showed 0 interest in signing a proven backup PG.
You think Murry is so good that we just gave him the whole preseason off to test run Clark?
I prefer to see Murry on the court if Exum struggles.
You have 0 basis to prefer Murry over Clark.
How many minutes of live game have you seen Murry play?
Have you ever seen Murry even play for a recorded game?
This is just an annoying ***, homeytennis style, "the grass is greener" I wish we would play Scrub A type post.
I could say the same about you pushing Clark.
Let's not make it a debate. Neither of two players will influence the Jazz season.
Holy **** dude, how many times do I have to say I'm not pushing Clark?
I haven't seen Murry play at all, besides highlights and the short time he got in preseason. (Assuming this is the same for anyone who isn't a Knicks or Wichita State fan)
I do however trust our coaching staff, who have so far (in my eyes) proven to me that they are pretty smart and know their ****. Our coaching staff is currently sending out the message that Clark has won the job over Murry, so I trust them.
The court will prove as always...
Yes, I think that is the point in why Clark is getting minutes over Murry.
Do you follow logic when you type?
I do think that Murray could be a viable player, I think Clark as played pretty well so far too. It'll be interesting, because I thought Exum would get the majority of the backup pg minutes, but it seems like we'll bring him along slowly. It'll be fun too watch though...
