The team has reportedly narrowed down their choices to Williams and Enes Kanter.

Jonathan Givony on the Jazz #3:

The team is also actively exploring trade opportunities, namely for a proven starting point guard.

Suns are one of the two teams who are trying the hardest to move into the top three, the reason they want to do that is to draft Derrick Williams. Lets say Minnesota drafts Enes Kanter at #2 meaning Derrick Williams would fall to #3, also since the Jazz want a proven starting point guard would you do this trade:

Jazz trade Devin Harris, Raja Bell, and #3 to Suns for Steve Nash and #13

Jazz get an all-star point guard in Nash who has two or three more great years in him, they get rid of Raja Bell, and they move down from #3 to #13 giving them #12 and #13 in the draft.

Brandon Jennings and #10 for Raja Bell and #3? Milwaukee has expressed interest in moving Jennings so it is possible.

If we're looking for a proven starting PG we'd find it on our roster, which makes it hard to believe we'd be eyeballing guys on the way out of the league and guys who at full potential could maybe be Harrisesque.

Well if the Jazz trade away the 3 pick for Nash who will be done in two years then they should have just kept Deron. Sorry but I'd rather the Jazz draft Knight then trade the pick. I would love to take a trip around the world with Molly Sims but it ain't going to happen. Rose, Westbrook, CP3 and Deron are not going to walk through that door. Keep the pick and take the BPA (either Williams or Kanter), then short out your roster later.

Wait...is nothingbutnet another alias for gasol_stopper? The content is eerily similar....hmmmm.

If Nash was signed for two years, I'd honestly think think about dealing the 3. If Nash agreed to an extension in a trade (an impossible fantasy) I'd deal it in a heartbeat. But Nash is only signed for next year. You can't deal the 3 for that.

Nash plays like 24 minutes a night. Geez just sign Stockton to a one year deal, it would only cost the vetran minimum and one pair of the old tighty whities. I'd rather keep the pick and just draft the 13th best player.

Nash plays 33 minutes a night. He's been an iron man for a decade. He's shown no sign of regression. He's aging better than Kidd.
