Anyways. That's enough Jazzfanz for me. Coach Popp would love a game like this-- showing his team that they can compete with the rest of them, while also pointing out how they can't cut corners on the fundamentals. And really there isn't a better time, and a better way to show this lesson. This is the sort of loss that'll stick with you for the rest of your career-- and that's important for so many of our young guys.
The Jazz have come a hell of a long way. Through extended injuries to Derrick, Rudy, Alec, and Dante-- they're still playoff-seeded, and still winning huge games on the road against playoff teams in the mix with them.
This team is an easy 5th seed with a healthy roster, which few would have predicted. Hell, we can almost get 5th even after all of these ****ing injuries.
Our wings are hitting game-winners, and our PG play is almost approaching mediocrity (saying lots). It took GSW an injured FTs and 16 missed FTs to beat us. I'm fine with that any day of the week.
