Jazz will draft Chris Singleton at #12 if he is available

Gotta take Biyombo if he's there or if the rumored trade happens and we get 6 and 18 from Washington, use 12 and 18 to move up and get Biyombo. A Knight/Biyombo draft would look awesome on paper imo. And next year's draft is loaded with 3's.

Just because next year's draft is loaded with 3's doesn't mean you shouldn't take a 3 this year.

I think the only 3's I'd want this year are Williams (if he can play the 3) and/or Jimmy Butler (because he won't cost much - Jazz would have to grab a late first/early second off someone).

AK never had much desire to work on his offensive game. He was reading Russian novels instead of taking extra shooting practice. Ronnie Brewer had a bad wing. No matter how hard he tried, his shot was NEVER going to have a good rotation. And you cite Millsap as having a good jumper. Do you remember him as a rookie or even his 2nd year? He couldn't hit an outside shot to save his life. Now he has range out to the 3.

I wouldn't count on a draft pick next season - at least not a good one. At best, I see the Jazz at 12-14 if they don't make the playoffs. But, I think there's a good chance they sneak in as the 8th seed. We certainly saw th team play a lot better the last couple of weeks. I wouldn't be shocked if the Jazz finishes .500. And who knows with Golden State? If they suck, the pick is protected to #8. But I think they'll play better under their new coach. And I see them getting some value for Ellis. That's addition by subtraction as he and Curry just couldn't co-exist. They won 36 games last year. I could see them improve that by 6 games and move right into the playoffs.

I will say this... Singleton might possibly be among the top 3 athletes in this draft.

Leonard is supposedly a great athlete. Yet, Singleton beats him in nearly every category.

He also beats Wes Johnson in many categories (probably the most athletic player taken last year other than Wall)

Brewer was a freak athlete. I wonder what he could have done with a normal arm?
