Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon

All-time leader in blocks!

Perhaps the greatest player to ever play the game in the low block!

Bringing it on both ends of the court!

I personally think Shaq has more of an impact on the game than Hakeem, even if the latter has a more impressive skill set.

Hack,

Why the Hate?

Haha. Funny.

I guess our boys are cool. Hey I got an idea. Let's team up. We''ll trade all your best pieces to my team and will crush them. Shaq and Hakeem together would be sick.

Or we could work out a trade. Ill trade my 5th , 6th and 10th pick for Hakeem.

Throw in Shaq and your 2nd and I'll think about it!

I realize I had some choices...

If you want argue I should have picked... Hakeem... that's fine...

Idk, maybe I should have gone with Hakeem. He was a better player... much better...

Not to mention...the guy who is going to be bringing down basketball rims and backboards on your asses

Absolutely agree with Hack on this one!

I had Hakeem rated higher than Shaq due to his versatility and ability to play hard the whole game. They're close though. You could argue that Shaq wasn't in his prime when they met in the Finals.

It was shaq's third year, and not only that, it wasn't his fault they lost. He did his job.

I select...

LEBRON JAMES
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSgMRrclOLI

- 3x NBA MVP
- 1x NBA Champion
- 1x NBA Finals MVP
- 8x NBA All-Star
- 8x All-NBA Honors
- 4x All-Defensive Teams
- fun stat: averaged the most assists over the course of a season by a forward ever with 8.6 in 2009-10 (broke Larry Bird's record).
- the body of Malone, passing ability of Magic, scoring of Jordan (okay, not quite).

This past season, Lebron became just the second player to ever win NBA MVP of the regular season, NBA-Finals MVP, and an Olympic Gold Medal in the same season. Can you guess who the other was?

Lebron had an absolutely flawless performance this post season, posting triple doubles, 40+ point games, playing/guarding every position, and coming up big in clutch moments. In this post season, he averaged 30 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists.

On picking him over Kobe:

-Lebron has superior career averages in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals.
-Kobe's best statistcal post season was in 2007 when he averaged 33 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists. 30/10/6 > 33/5/4...not to mention, Kobe didn't even win the title that particular year.
-Lebron will work better on a super-team, imo, due to his versatility.

Magic on Lebron after the 2012 Finals:

"Before, my biggest knock on LeBron was he was just playing off his God gifted talent. He was just the best athlete. But he didn't play with his head to match that. Now he's playing with his talent and with his head, and wow, watch out. This guy is going to set the league on fire for a long time."
