Jazzfanz ALL-TIME Fantasy Draft

I'm not going to bother with any in depth details about the team management. Nobody is going to care about that. People will just look at the players, perhaps think for a few seconds about how they'd fit together, then vote.

I can't wait until someone takes Memo so I can talk trash about mismatch nightmares for your squad. I'm already working some Rasheed trash talking.

That makes sense, but when it comes to individual match-ups, I would probably at least point out who guards whom if it's not obvious.

Sheed could be one of the best steals on this thread. If I was to go with Wes's idea of just making an also-ran team I'd go for a small pile of stretch bigs who have not been drafted. Yes that includes Memo. Matchups matter both ways.

He was on my short list 2 rounds ago when I took Kukoc.

Being a guy that dodged doing this draft don't take this the wrong way but Sheed had a much larger contribution to his championship than Toni did. All Kukoc did, really, was make that shot when you needed it. Yea, I know, that's what that guy said about Chris Carter only catching touchdowns. Still Rasheed was a far more valuable player IMO.

Sure. Maybe even a short description of your team's advantages and style of play as well. But it got to be short enough so that people actually read them. I haven't read any of Numberica's long *** posts in this thread for example. I'm sure they're excellent. But they're too long to care about for a fantasy draft team. I think others will feel the same way.

That's true. I just needed a Stretch-4 to play off my post players, and Kukoc is a more reliable floor spacer. Sheed's shooting percentages weren't good enough, although his jumper out to 20+ feet is pretty solid. Most teams, all things considered, would back off Sheed and let him shoot from range when the alternative is leaving a player like Garnett, Wilt or even one of my guards in single coverage. I viewed Kukoc as a value pick in the 8th round vis a vis Nowitzki who was taken in the 2nd round. This is because his role is just to spread the floor, let Garnett slide into the post, and hit the dagger when it's needed. I couldn't think of a better player to do that, including Carmello (who wasn't available when I picked).

Edit: Also, I already have Amar'e and KG on my roster. KG is the back-up PF, so looking for another one wasn't as high a priority. I can also put Kukoc at either forward spot, whereas Sheed is limited out on the floor.
