Gyp's write up:
ball iq, clutch play (Bird and Mr. Clutch Jerry West most of all) passing (all
my starters average about 4.5 assists per game or more at their peak), toughness
(Bird, Sabonis, Sloan, Harpring, and Eaton are off the charts here), length
(Sabonis at over 7'3", Gasol at the 4, 6'9" Bird at the 3, 6'5" West at the 1
equals very long), rebounding (West and Barry average around 11 a game combined
for their careers, Bird easily grabbed 10 many nights from the 3, Sabonis was
immovable) are the simple reasons. My players have off the charts basketball
iq's and instincts. That's something almost immeasurable and as much as I
respect athleticism, there's a reason the Spurs are consistently great. This iq
along with that great team play, passing and an ability to hit big shots puts me
over the top. Like I've said before, all our teams are strong but mine can hit
the biggest of shots an is tough to get the biggest shots.

Kareem met Bird 3x in the finals besting him 2 series to 3(my PG Dennis Johnson sealed their single victory with 2 clutch FTs) and 11 games to 8. This will be a high scoring series and my team will get more high% shots. While bird is a better 3than Dr.J he will not best him for every game of the series Erving should out play him atleast twice. When bird & Kareem are out I will sub my frontcourt for 2 of the best 3p% shooters of all time (Maravich&Curry) who will open the floor for the 8th and 13th highest scorers of all time. Thurmond will play final possessions to get boards(15per)& block shots(2.1per)
