Scorers- Lebron James & Derrick Rose: These two can both create for themselves and their teammates.

Rebounders- Mosses Malone and Willis Reed: Both Averaged over 12 rebounds a game in their career

Assist guy- Steve Nash: Easily the 2nd greatest pure PG ever. A guy who makes his teammates better, many players averaged their best stats playing with Nash.

6th man- Manu Ginobli: A star player custom to coming off the bench and creating havoc for defenses.

Bench- Penny Hardaway: Imagine what his whole career would be if healthy!!
Larry Johnson: low post threat, that can use his muscle to get position!!
Raxheed Wallace: Stretch 4 that is always a threat from DownTown!!

Wild Card- Andrew Wiggins: This kid looks like he has the skills to be top 5 player in the NBA and Maybe even top 10 overall when the sun sets on his career.

MVP Awards- 11 amongst my team. That means during the NBA’s 67 seasons my team has made up 17% of the MVPs and Represent 7 of the last 9 MVPs!!!!!

Weezur's write up:

Team Weezur:

PG- Magic Johnson / Nate Archibald
SG- John Haavlicek / Sam Jones
SF- George Gervin / Bernard King
PF- Kecin McHale / Jerry Lucas
C- Alonzo Mourning / Marc Gasol

My team is built on guys who excelled at their position in the NBA not only in terms of stats, but also championships, awards, defense, leadership skills, and in the legacy they left behind with their respective teams. The best thing about most of my guys is that they all excel at moving the ball. Most of them have at least 2.5+ apg and my point guards are both one of the best passers of all time.

Amongst the group, we have:
29 Championship rings
71 All star appearances
14 All-Defensive First Team appearances
43 All NBA First/Second Team appearances

My point guard match up is impossible to beat. My starter is arguably the best PG of all time who put up near triple double avgs in his career.
My bench PG (Nate Archibald) put up one of the best season averages of 34.0 ppg and 11.4 apg. in his prime.

At shooting guard, I have Havlicek and Sam Jones. Havlicek not only put up 20.8 ppg, 6.3 rpg, and 4.8 apg but he also was on the NBA All Defensive team a total of 8 times (5 on the first, 3 on the second. Same Jones is kind of a veteran SG who won the championship ring 10 times while posting up 17.7 ppg, 4.9 rpg, and 2.5 apg!

At small forward, we have the Iceman- George Gervin whose play would remind you of one Kevin Durant. A 4xNBA scoring champion and with an excellend wingspan for his size, he posted up 25.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 2.6 apg. On the bench, I have Bernard King who can also light it up from the field (22.5 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 3.3apg)

At power forwards, I have one of the best 2 way players of all time in Kevin McHale who averages 1.7 bpg and was a dynamite post up player (17.9 ppg, 7.3 rpg). Then there's Jerry Lucas who excelled during his time and posted one of the best rebounding averages of all time at 15.6 rpg. (Also 17 ppg and 3.3 apg)

Finally, at center I have Alonzo Mourning and Gasol who are both excellent 2 way players (3 NBA Defensive POY between the two and around 17ppg and 8.5 rpg for the two).

This might be the toughest one just because there are glaring weaknesses on both sides and super positives on both sides. Most will probably go with LeBron, which is a symptom of recency bias mostly. They forget that Magic was every bit as dominating when he needed to be, and really a much smarter player, which meant he KNEW when he needed to dominate. It took LeBron too many years of trial and error to figure out when to pass and when to shoot, and that there are times when one is better than the other. For anyone who can remember, weezur's bench would absolutely dominate, especially against a college player. Wiggins in a nice feel-good pick, but he would realistically in this game ride the pine until the game was decided. Tiny would school Penny in almost every way, and Sheed would T out within the first half almost every game. Remember, if we are looking at them in their prime, we take the good with the bad and when Sheed was in his prime he was a premier hot-head. I think this one goes 7 games but Weezur's squad wins out in the end.

How the hell do you vote against Weezur's team? A team with that star studed lineup, then throw in the greatest playmaker of all time in Magic. Magic and Gervin alone should make you **** yourself! This team is the best looking well oiled machine in this draft.

Zulu has a team that would employ a lot of iso and guys trying to understand there roles, and before you stupidly open your mouths about Zulu having Nash.... He'll never see the ball as both James and Rose will want to dominate the ball. This leaves Nash as nothing more then a spot up shooter. Magic and Gervin would run circles around Zulu's team. This vote is retarde!:(

I took Weezur here.

First, I think Magic would leave Nash for roadkill. He wouldn't even notice Nash trying to play defense. That said, I think Penny Hardaway is the perfect guy to match-up with Magic, and Penny is more explosive to boot. Nate Archibald trying to guard Penny is as bad as Nash trying to guard Magic.

I'm not really buying Moses Malone as a PF. I don't think he can do enough with the ball or defend out on the floor. I think the spacing falls apart on offense for Zulu's team.

I also think that George Gervin and Bernard King would create match-up problems for Zulu's team, even though they have Lebron. Wiggins isn't ready yet. Give him a couple years though.

Watching Rasheed guard Marc Gasol is only a bit easier than watching him guarding Shaq. I also don't think Larry Johnson is a difference maker at this level.

Overall, I think Weezur's team has better floor balance.

Thee Voice of Reason.

Zulu's got a good team here, but the only thing that bothers me about Zulu's team is that he has 3 point guards.
Yeahhhh Rose isn't really your typical point guard, but you put him at SG and he doesn't create the matchup problems he used to at PG. His 3 point shot isn't there yet and so he doesn't really space the floor well either..

I agree about the excellent matchup though. Lebron vs. Magic and McHale vs. Moses.
The funny thing is that if Magic was taken, I would've taken Lebron and same with McHale. Good team Zulu!
