Rondo > Deron
Curry < George
Green < Deng
Favors > Pekovic
Cousins > Drummond
Crawford = Gordon
Can Gordon even stay healthy enough to be the 6th man? Rondo a.k.a Triple Double Machine was walking around and didn't even know he had a torn acl. George can try and guard Curry all he wants, but Curry will still get his 20 no matter what. Jeff Green played great in the playoffs this season and I have Crawford who is instant offense off the bench.
From what I can see it's 3 to 2 in my favor. My frontcourt dominates OG's frontcourt.
A-Train, I like you so I will put this gently to you. You are insane with some of your predictions.
Rondo V DWill - Will Rondo be healthy enough to play in late October? Doubt it. Even if he was I would say that those two are equal if anything. If Rondo doesn't have the ball in his hands what will he so for the offense?
Curry V George- You are right that Curry will find a way to get points. What happens when he has to try and defend George who is at least 6 inches taller? DWill is smart enough to get the ball where the mismatch is. Curry will get into fouls trouble trying to defend George in the paint.
Green V Deng - Green did play better in the postseason but Deng will win this match up. Nuff said.
Favors V Pekovic- I love Favors but at this point in his career you have to give the nod to Pekovic as the better overall player. Favors will present a challenge defensively but he will have the same problem as Curry, FOUL TROUBLE.
Cousins V Drummond- Cousins wins this. It will not be the landslide victory that you think it is. Cousins has problems on the low block with big strong defenders and when that happens he shys away from the paint. We will let Cousins shoot the midrange and outside jumper all game long.
Crawford V Gordon- I actually disagree that this is equal. I'd say that right this second Crawford wins. Neither is an All Defensive type player. I question Gordons health as well. If he can go back to the player he was before he was injured then that is an equal match up.
Overall it is close but remember that this game is played on two ends of the courts and my team has two way players at nearly every position while your team has players that are more one side of the court guys.
At this point all I can say is, Game, Set, Match for OG.
