Would like to read Harper Lee's recently published book "To Set a Watchman" - - anybody read it?
I recently reread To Kill a Mockingbird and loved it. I recall I didn't really like it when I read it the first time, in junior high or sometime around then. I think I didn't like the writing style and found it difficult to read, which made the story very difficult to follow.
I haven't but I listened to a books podcast about it. From what I understand, it is an early draft of To Kill a Mockingbird but since it takes place after the events of TKaM, they decided to release it as a sequel. If you take it as totally different characters but sharing the same names as Atticus and Scout, I've heard it's not bad. An old lady the other day told me she hated it though.
