The Stand is the best King book, hands down.

Hey! SOMEONE READ THE LUMINARIES LIKE I ASKED YOU ********. I'm on page 459 and need to talk about it. ****'s getting cray.
I think I might buy this book-- the problem is, I'm a 3rd year Undergrad, and I SERIOUSLY never have time to read.
But I will buy it!!! I've kinda followed it since it's release. It seems super, super cool![]()
I usually read before I go to sleep. It winds me down and makes me tired. Usually after 30 minutes of reading in bed I'm almost asleep. Can't do any studying for school past 10 pm because my brain shuts down.
Btw, for anyone who likes sci fi mystery stuff..... i highly recommend the wayward pines series by blake crouch.
Amazing story and make sure not to read any reviews with spoilers.
Not even close IMO. I'd put lots of King books above The Stand. The Stand is the best King book, hands down.

The Stand is the best King book it's a proven real true fact. The Supreme Court made their decision, and it was unanimous (well, Clarence Thomas voted for Dreamcatcher, because he's a lunatic).
1.The Stand
2.Lisey's Story (CONTROVERSIAL CHOICE I KNOW DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER)
3. The Long Walk--early king book, most overlooked, but it's excellent. You'll read it in one setting.
4. Full Dark No Stars--this was seriously one of the best short story collections (it's really a collection of like 4 novellas and a short story) I've ever read. I consider it to be a masterpiece of horror fiction. If you're a king fan and haven't checked this out, you're missing some of his best work.
5. The Dead Zone
6. 11/22/63
7. Carrie
8. Bag of Bones
