One Stud & Two Scrubs.

Pleiss and Withey haven't done anything yet in the NBA. Let's see if they can contribute before giving them nicknames. Withey might not even make the team.

That's overstating things. I was not "suspicious". I agreed to look into it because you were insistent, but I myself didn't ever believe it was true. And that's still my opinion.

at any rate, I think AK's history post Jazz shows he had his own issues that had little to do with Deron. And actually, they and their wives remained close friends.

Good value signing & insurance in the event that neither Lyles or Pleiss are ready to contribute this upcoming season. I think the 15 man roster is clear (pending a trade) at this point:

Burke/Neto/Cotton
Hood/Burks/Millsap
Hayward/Ingles
Favors/Booker/Lyles
Gobert/Pleiss/Withey

IR: Exum

It will be interesting to see who dresses & who doesn't.

Barring any hangnails or players out to assorted injuries, only two additional would need to sit. That should be the 3rd PG and either Withey or Pleiss. Neto and Cotton could very well rotate being active. And the same could hold true for Withey and Pleiss. I doubt anyone on the roster will be assigned or sent down to the DLeague.

I don't want to get into the evolution of it all, but it was basically because I took AK's side in the debate as to why his role on the team diminished with the advent of Deron. Well, the site was overpopulated with Deron supporters and you know how I doggedly defend myself. I should have relented and let it go. Anyway, that's why I changed my username.
