What's new

Jeremy Lin

To win with the likes of that NY roster is impressive.

Everyone keeps talking about Lin's personal stats, which have been insane.

But more insane is that they keep winning with guys like..... Jared Jeffries? Steve Novak? Mike Bibby????

To me, that's more impressive. Once they got Amare back, it's gonna be lob city to Chandler and Amare...

Once they get Melo back... The wonderful offense they've created will come to a screeching halt.

Lin had a pretty good first half against the Twolves, but a miserable second half. Part of it, he just looked exhausted. Exciting end to the game though. I hadn't realized Rubio is as big as he is, somehow I pictured him more as a little guy.

Lin didn't have any offers out of high school (Palo Alto HS) even though he was All State and his team won the California state championship. His first choices were UCLA, USC, Cal or Stanford but none of them offered him a scholarship. Harvard made the best offer of playing time plus academic scholarship so that's why he went there. The scuttlebutt is that it was definitely because he's Asian. A black kid with his profile would've had offers out the wahzoo.

LOL; like I said, Lin had an off night. I think it's turnovers that have gotten him cut before, so he needs to be cognizant of that. He's playing a lot of NBA minutes lately for a guy who hardly saw any PT before the Knicks' PG crisis, so not gonna throw him under the bus unless it becomes a habit...

Amare and Carmello are going to ruin this guy's career.

totally this. IT's gonna be interesting to see what happens when those two bafoons get back. You gotta think that both of them are pissed right now with Lin getting all of this press.
Melo and Amare are the epitome of selfish players.

Amare will be fine. He played with a pick and roll guard his whole career and was sort of in no man's land without one in New York. Lin will get him back on track. Melo is a completely different story, and they should even consider trading him. He is jacking up about 19 shots a game shooting under 40%

I had to laugh the other day, in a Bill Simmons article he said something about Melo proving the Ewing theory twice.
