Sorry I use to be the biggest Deron hommer in the world. I almost named my second son after him. (Not Joking) but then I went to the games in Phili and Boston. My good friend and I sat near the bench in both games. I have never seen a more negative, whinny, pre-madonna in my entire life. Everything out of his mouth was negative, everything was someone elses fault. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I even considered buying him the book "The Power of Possitive Thinking". After the Phili game we were given family passes to stay after the game and meet the players as they came out of the locker room. Even then with his family around it was all about how the refs wouldn't give him a call. How the entire world was against him. He just seemed like a spoiled kid who had always gottan his way and now wasn't. Thats when I lost respect for him...
 
So are you going to stop being a fan of the Jazz? I mean Sloan is no longer here and the player you hate is...now what?
 
Dwill owned the loss in the post game interview. What do you guys want. He plays hurt and doesn't play as well as he does healthy, its hate; he sits out a game because he can't use his wrist, he gets hate.

I'll be a Jazz fan forever, even if they go to LV or Seattle... I'm just saying, don't expect the team to get better all the sudden. In fact, be more prepared for Deron to bolt the second he can, then what do we have? The Cleveland Cavaliers part 2 without the solid coach that can still get 41 wins out of a team of scrubs (see first season after Stock/Malone left)....
 
So DW didn't live up to your delusional image of him? Who cares? I am sure that most athletes disappoint their fans unrealistic expectations. Maybe he was just having a bad day who knows. Some people just have never like DW because he isn't CP3 or even worse he is not Stockton. It doesn't matter what he does on or off the court. I have never met DW so I don't know if he is an @$$ or not but I really don't care unless he commits some horrible crime or something. All I care is does he play hard, does he care about winning and does he produce. I am too old to look for my heros through sports. I 've grown up a long time ago. As far as Jerry West comment, he is correct about the game. Rose out played DW and he was the better player that night. But as Jerry knows there are many nights that every player has were they are not their best. Walt Frazier owned West several times when they played. I don't think Jerry was dissing DW so much but he was just stating the reality of the game.

I don't know what will happen? yea just think if the Jazz had sucked a few more years they would have been able to draft someone like James or Dwight Howard instead we got to watch a terribly untalented team be mediocre. Whatever happens I will still be a Jazz fan. I am sorry it had to go down to this way but I think Sloan has stayed a few too years to long.
 
Dude if Dwill brings a Championship to Utah. Whose cares Sloan did a great job and now the team can move on and run a little more. And hoepfully utilize the talent they have.
