I think he needs that driving/off the dribble game to the hole to keep defenders honest (Hayward was able to thrive last year because he had that drive and dunk game as well as his 3pt range).

If he cannot do that I think he might struggle with his outside shot.

Throughout march madness and in the season he proved he is fast and can finish around the rim, did you even see when he played san diego state?HE also had the fastest lateral quickness at the combine...
 
I don't know what you are watching to develop that opinion but Jimmer is fast enough and gets great height on his jump to shot quick release. My only fear is his defense.

That is 100% false. Now, if you want to project and question if he will have the same success and also be able to finish at the rim in the pros, that is a different statement and a different matter and is an opinion, but it is not fact as you stated.

As I said - I really like Jimmer and I would be very happy if we do pick him up at #12. I've defended this pick before and I will again.

Having said that, finishing at the rim (along with his one-on-one defense) would be his biggest challenges in the NBA. That's all I'm trying to say.

2.17min mark - Locke: "These are plays that even in College he struggle a little bit - I would be surprise if you see a lot of rim finishing by him."
 
Jimmers game in the NBA should be spot up shooting and coming off screens.
He shouldn't be looking to go the basket.

Yeah but coming off screens defenders will lock-and-trail him alot more in the NBA than he saw in college so he'll need to figure out a way to score when he gets into the lane - either with the floater or a Nashian scoop-layup.

YOU said he was known for not finishing at the rim in COLLEGE. That's false for anyone that actually watched him. Everyone saw the long 3 balls but a TON of his points came in the paint. Whether that continues is a guess but YOU said in COLLEGE he was known for not finishing.

Florida is about as tall as they come and thats VERY solid competition. His shot was off this game (I know, because I watched it) so he had to go to the rack against a very long and talented team.
