What's new

Jimmer (not) a Jazzman

Once upon a time someone who was 6'2 got into the NBA and got DNP's for the Sacramento Kings, the end.

Wat?

You really think that is the story??

Srs question....you from Utah?

PS: pull up a chair and let me tell you the tale of Josea Juan Barea. You are going to love it!!

Or let me tell you the story of one Tim Tebow, a great college player, but a rather average professional prospect. However, he had a zealous group of fans due to his religious beliefs. They believed, Jimmer, I mean Tim, could walk on water and meant a guaranteed championship for any team just willing to give him his inalienable right to play.

Tebow won a playoff game.

Tebow's NFL achievements dwarf Jimners NBA achievements.

When he's willing to go by James like a proper grown-up, maybe, MAYBE I'd consider him. The sound of "Jimmer" is so douchebaggy, that alone would discourage me.

Tom Cruise gonna play Jimner in the up coming Disney movie: "Riding the Pine".

Cuba Gooding Jr. to play Brandon Davies, who unites with Jimner when Jimner signs with the Sixers. Sixers eventually sign entire BYU team from Jimner's senior year. They movies follows the team as they lose a NBA record 27 games in arow.

The thread title overtly proclaims why it doesn't belong in the Jazz forum, and yet......

well I hate player hysteria and any kind of "insert name"-mania.
I seriously dislike and distrust organization called NBA and its business-first mentality as regards basketball.
I hate that NBA has grown a huge liking for big market cities and the like.
I seriously would love to watch a NAIA basketball match than watching Lebrons of today being blatantly favoured by some refs, who are nothing but employees of a profit-mongering (word?) association.

That said; I am all for a Frigidaire-addition to the team.
two reasons;
ticketzz & three pointers
