Am I the only one that is happy with this? I know this dude well because I am from Europe. Sure he is skilled like hell but I doubt he can play in the NBA. Too soft, has the body of a 12 years old kid. Imagine him playing against Cousins or D12. He could literally die trying to defend these guys. Best center in Europe? Probably. But it's easy... Nenad Krstic returned from the NBA jobless and became the Euroleague MVP ffs. Still Tomic could have contributed off the bench but at a big price. So I am happy with him not coming over.

Possibly. I'm fine with that too. The last thing I want in the world is to work for a large corporation.
Competitiveness isn't the most important trait in the world for an accountant. It is for a basketball player.

He didn't leave any money on the table. He'd have to make 6 million per year here to equal 3 million there. So, he will have the same money.
That's why i said this:
Why would leave one company where you are at the top of the totem pole (Tomic in Europe) to get paid less to be at the bottom of the totem pole (Tomic in the U.S.)?

I disagree. Competitiveness is very alive in accounting. Maybe Tomic feels the same about basketball as you do for accounting. Maybe he stays in Europe for all the same reasons you stay at your job.
Like I said, it's unfair for you to bag on him, when you are doing the same things he is doing.
