I ruled out the playoffs the second Sloan resigned/retired/quit/was fired.

...the Jazz weren't gonna make the playoffs this year with or without Sloan finishing the year. We probably have a better chance of squeaking in without him. The team quit on Sloan. Plus, Sloan's old school ways were not the smartest idea for this squad. We need to run more, play less half court offense, and certainly not slow the ball down when we have a 2 on 1 or 3 on 2 fast break going! We just don't have any good outside shooters, plain and simple. Don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure that out! Our defense might be a tad bit better, but without the pick and roll going with Booze gone, it's not enough to make up the difference.
