[Jones]BREAKING: Jazz willing to engage Celtics in S&T talks: But Gordon Hayward must agree

It sounds like Crowder has to be traded. They need the cap space and Crowder does not want to play for the Celtics. This actually works well for both Jazz and Boston. Seems like and easy deal.

The question is what can we do the with 23 million trade exception?

Clips fans weren't angry because they didn't have to endure "The Indecision" and wait 6 hours for a garbage article to be written. CP3 handled his situation with class, straight to the point, no circus acts. I respect that guy...

He was also traded there and already an all-star. Utah drafted Gordon and gave him a lot of opportunity, even when he wasn't that good. They invested a lot in Hayward only to have him give them the bird once he finally became an all star.

We could take on Love for just the exception right? We get Love and take back a Salary they are trying to dump like Shumpert. We send Diaw to Cleveland, Cleveland gets Carmelo and cleans up cap space then NY gets a few picks from us. That is a simple deal that cleans up a ton of cap space for both teams. NY gets some picks and freedom to sign Free agents.

Ainge won't do this anyway. He won't give us anything for Hayward and will expect us to pay for Crowder or whoever the same as if it's a completely different trade.

Anybody hoping we get something in return for Hayward is going to be disappointed IMO.

The east should conspire to help the west wear down the warriors with a couple teams that may go... unswept. So there's that.

He has to send Crowder somewhere, so why wouldn't he send him to us? Does he have some particular animosity towards the Jazz? I'll tell you one thing, we are going to have some particular animosity towards him if he doesn't give us something. He was a pissy-*** whiny bitch when he played for the Celtics. I was a Celtics fan then and saw all of his tirades. They eventually traded him though I thought it was a bad deal for the Celtics. He was a very good player, borderline All-Star -- don't think he ever made the All-Star team though I could be wrong -- yes, he did make it once.

This is on Hayward though. If he wants to be a vindictive little kid then he will not agree to this. Is Hayward that petty and angry about his time with the Jazz. The team that made him an all-star, that created an offense for him, the team that believed he could be a number 1 option and let him improve at that for 3 years until he was.

Celtics can easily just trade Crowder to one of the teams with room and get some asset back.
