Yeah we could take Love back. But I'm not sure we should. He's 28 with back problems. How far does Rudy + Love take us? It might be better to hold the asset. A better oppotunity is bound to present itself. We've seen George, Butler and CP3 traded in the last month alone. Things are always changing.

He doesn't have to send Crowder somewhere for free. He has value. Like I said, Ainge will expect compensation for him IMO, rather than counting Hayward as compensation.

I suppose it may be possible that Ainge decides to do us a Favor. Won't be holding my breath, though.

There's a different angle in here, though. This is the absolute worst timing for Ainge's son to be running for congress in Utah. This could absolutely sink any political aspirations he has. If Hayward feels guilty (or wants to get larger % increases each year) then they can push for this. Maybe there are other takers for cap space dumps for Boston contracts, maybe not. Ainge has no motivation to give away someone for nothing, unless he absolutely can't clear space. But, if there are significant signs of serious political blowback where this Hayward issue could put his candidacy in jeopardy, the least his dad go do is throw his son a bone and Crowder + TPE goes a long way in smoothing out this narrative before next month's vote. It's already (prior to the decision) effected him because he's going out there feigning wanting Hayward to stay and tweeting Stayward crap.

He might actually be worried about the PR for GH and he might have some concern for his sons campaign.

Let me spit the truth here... we talked with them sure... but we said these mother ****ers been screwing with us let's turn it up. He woj and tony why don't you let the general public know that Hayward could actually help us out here... if he doesn't he looks more douchey if he does we get some help.

It won't work... I think... but we can make them look even worse.

He doesn't want salary other than Hayward. That is what makes us a good partner. Even if we have to send something what would you pay for Crowder? Probably more than what would be included here. Plus we get a massive trade exception that we need. Ainge wouldn't be doing Utah a favor though it would help the Jazz.
 
What's the notion about this being up to Hayward?

Genuinely confused. Like we are asking him to demand the Jazz to sign the same contract Boston would give him so they can send us Crowder and a huge trade exception?

What if Boston could get a decent first round pick for Crowder? We are expecting Hayward, who is now about to be a Boston Celtic, to say no turn that deal down and send him to the Jazz?
