Should we merge this one with the LDS thread, and the Mary Jane thread?
It's crazy enough it just might work.

And plenty of people that don't break laws that are just as bad or worse. If rape is legal (and in some countries in certain circumstances [theocracies], it is), does that make it okay?Yes. And plenty of people have broken the law that are bad too.

I'm talking about now and in the U.S. More importantly, I'm talking about things that are legitimate concerns with the Jazz.
You guys are silly spin doctors.
And when it was legal to kill mormons?
The majority of the issues leading to the financial collapse were not illegal.
legality =/= right and wrong.
It's not right and wrong in all cases, but you're a fool not to think that what's illegal the "majority" of the time is considered bad.
Actually buddy, I have lived in 4 different states including Boston Massachusetts and have been overseas many times. Youre type of thinking is a small minority and has never worked. Communism works great!!! Also have a Master's degree. Now back to basketball I have already said I hope that he will work out and contribute but glad he was signed for only one year. Wish we did the same with Raja.
I don't disagree with that, but your point has been that if it's illegal then it is bad. If legality doesn't outline what is good and bad behavior absolutely, then it really shouldn't be used as reasoning to say something is wrong. Or right.
Back to the point, if all Josh Howard did was act like a fool in front of a video camera and admit that he smokes weed in the offseason, then welcome aboard, Josh. I don't assume that's all of the less-than-tasteful things he's ever done, but I don't know what else there is.
Either way, he's on the Jazz now. So I hope all of the hype of his being a headcase/cancer is overblown, as are the facts of his sucking for the previous two years.
If you refuse to support players who smoke weed or do other "unsavory" things, you should probably stop watching professional sports altogether.
From what I remember, someone made a post about Howard being a great guy and I made some tongue-in-cheek comment about him smoking weed and disrespecting flag and said, "great guy." Then from there it's grown into something it shouldn't, although it's annoying to me that people don't have a problem with dopers when it could in fact hurt the team and its image. I personally want him to be a good pick up whether or not he smokes pot, but I don't want him to do anything stupid that could jeopardize the Jazz or what they've represented in a long time.
Nuts, beat me to it.
Anyway,
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Darn, it had better be a short deal for pennies on the dollar, because if this restricts development of our talent I will be pissed.
And he better keep his tail out of jail.
