Thurl just said he turned on his coach in college and wouldn't listen to him as one of the reason.
And basically the youngest player in D1 and the highest recruited playing for an *** program. Yeah, it’s not great, but it’s much better than having multiple meniscus surgeries that consist of just removing tissue that doesn’t grow back before the age of 20.

I had GG at #29, but he’s definitely boosting his stock right now. Looks great out there.

Okay, why did we take Brice over GG again?
The big semi confirmed thing is he couldn't complete a teams workout and was hitting a vape afterwards in the team lockerroom.

it would explain why he had such a big fall. NBA teams are usually willing to bet on talent/size that was highly ranked in HS even if they stunk it up in college (see Baldwin and Watson last year in the first round)

Brice might not even play any time rehabbing his knees for a year (speculation)..... so we take him over GG? We drafted 3 players in the top 30 and only 1 of them can play at summer league?

He is clearly on a different talent tier from everyone else on the court. And he’s still the youngest player out there.

Even better: the Jazz were already well into discussions about taking on John Collins, already having Lauri (and Walker, and KO) and thought burying their top pick was a good idea.

The only return we might see this year from those picks is Keyonte. I’m not comfortable how much it feels like we’re riding on that when we had three picks and he wasn’t even the top pick.
